CI-Navigator has CG related 3D- Color Simulation System and it is easy to simulate lightness, hue, chroma, feel and texture of color on the display with change in fomula of color appearance materials. Furthermore, CI-Navigator can color practical object such as a car with simulated color or searched color from the data base using commercial CG softwares. It provides realistic  Computer Graphics while changing back ground and /or illumination. Therefore it is useful to estimate not only color itself but also color design of the product. At this point. CI-Navigator  works with n-Styler (GRAPS), Maya and VRED (Autodesk) .

CI-Navigator provides realistic 3D- color simulated CG by setting color, illumination, back ground and observation direction on the computer screen.
　

Shader function of CI-Navigator provides 3D- color simulation in detail using a simple object. The object is devided into two parts, and colored with target color and calculated color(=trial color) separately. It is possible to change the shape of object from global into an oval, lighting condition, back ground and observation direction. Therefore  useful evaluation from various points of view is possible.
